Obituary of Jim Emmerton

Peacefully at home on Friday December 7, 2012 James "Jim" Allan Emmerton of Clinton in his 74th year. Beloved husband for 51 years of Helen (Freeman) Emmerton. Loving father of Candace & Ralph Elliott of Varna, Bev & Bob Harris of Clinton, Steven & Debbie Emmerton of Florida, Greg & Tracy Emmerton of Seaforth and Valerie & Pat Odonnell of Goderich. Missed by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ernie & Leona Emmerton of Haliburton, Bruce & Liz Emmerton of London and brother-in-law of Don & Dianne Freeman of Clinton. Jim will also be missed by his dog Miley. Predeceased by his parents Cap & Rena Emmerton, his step-father Cyril Brooks and his two brothers Bob and Don. At Jim's request Cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service will be held at the Clinton Cemetery on Thursday December 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Nick Vandermay officiating. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
