Obituary of Lena Koene

Peacefully with her family by her side at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Monday, May 6, 2013. Lena was of Goderich and formerly Bayfield in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Koene (2000). Dear mother of Brian (Nikki) Koene of Penetanguishene and Jackie (Bryan) Wilson of Goderich. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Tiffany, Chris, Cathy, Laura and Nick. Sadly missed by many brothers and sisters and a sister-in-law all living in Holland, sister-in-law Corrie Koene and cousin Matty both of Bayfield and all of her many dear friends. Friends will be recieved at the FALCONER FUNERAL HOMES - BLUEWATER CHAPEL, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich, Ontario N7A 4H8 (519-524-1221) on Thursday, May 9 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Vanderstelt officiating. Interment, Bayfield Cemetery, Bayfield, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the O.S.P.C.A. or the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation.
