Peacefully at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich, on Friday January 4, 2012 Mr. Gordon Daer of Goderich and formerly of Auburn in his 75th year. Dear brother of Ruth & Donald Dewar of Atwood, Shirley Rolston of London, and Marilyn & Brian Wallace of Port Bruce. Brother in law of Janet Daer of Goderich. Loving uncle of Keith Dewar of Toronto, Carol Dewar & Paul Davidson of Cambridge, Karen Dewar-Birk & Dave Birk of Ayr, Mark Rolston, Trevor Rolston, Andrea & Kevin Buurs of Mitchell, Larry & Mireille Daer of London, Michael Daer, Nicholas & Jackie Daer all of Goderich, Owen & Rebecca Wallace of Thamesford, and Stacey & Jonn Barton of Guelph. Predeceased by his parents Roy & Martha Daer, and his brother Alvin Daer. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Dr. E., Goderich, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment Balls Cemetery, Hullett Twp. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Balls Cemetery, CNIB, or the charity of ones choice would be greatly appreciated.
