Obituary of Jake de Koning

Jake de Koning of Clinton, died peacefully with his family by his side on February 12, 2013 at 12:17 AM. He was born on October 26, 1957 in Toronto, ON. He is survived by his wife, Janice de Koning, and children, Ellen & Joram Nowak, Andrew, and Bethany de Koning & Gary Paquette. He is also survived by his mother, Jantje de Koning, and mother and father-in-law, Stein & Arie Peters. Also survived by siblings and in-laws Gerry & Pat de Koning, Neil & Klaaske de Koning, Joan & Jack VanderKooy, Alice de Koning & Yrjo Koskinen, Nick & Shelagh de Koning, Ralph & Anne deWeerd, Ken & Robyn deWeerd, Trudy & Ross MacDonald, Tim deWeerd, Diane & Don Dimaline, Janet & Ralph Kuiper, and John & Jane deWeerd. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Jan de Koning and father-in-law, Jan deWeerd. The visitation will be held at Vanastra Community Christian Reformed Church on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm, and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will take place on Friday February 15, 2013 at 2:30 pm at the Vanastra Community Christian Reformed Church. Interment Clinton Cemetery.
