To all the Boven & Otten Families,
With a very sad heart, we send sincerest sympathy to all of you upon the loss of your precious wife,Mom, Grandma, and great Grandma. Femmy was so endeared to our Snell family and we loved her to pieces. I remember when she first came to our farm in Logan Twnshp, as a wee girl of 2 or 3 & spending a lot of time with her.
Mum and Daddy kept the ties as they moved about the country but when they settled back at Maple Ridge, the bonds were closer than ever. Femmy had such an infectious laugh, the warmest hugs, and her smile lit up the world. She had a heart of gold was a beautiful person inside and out. A true friend.
I am so glad that I had a wonderful chat with her at Christmas time just after she went into the Retirement Home. We spoke for a good while and had many chuckles. She told me she was coming to NL to see me...how I wish that could have happened.
I have her lovely picture on my fridge that she sent to me after her 80th B-day celebrations. I shall treasure that and all the memories of visits to Clinton.
Thinking of you all today, and holding you in prayer. God rest her soul. Love to everyone and goodbye kisses and hugs to Femmy!
