Obituary of Elizabeth Grace Townshend

Peacefully at Huronview Home, Clinton on Wednesday July 23, 2014 Mrs. Elizabeth Grace "Bessie" ( Chuter) Townshend formerly of Clinton and R.R.#2, Bayfield in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late William Townshend (1990).Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mary and Dr. John Simmons of London and Elaine Townshend of Clinton. Sadly missed by her 3 grandchildren David Simmons of West Lorne, Janice Simmons of London and Brian Simmons of Toronto and by her 2 great grandchildren Amber Ferris and Josh Simmons. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ida McBride of Exeter, Florence Chuter of London, Anna Blatchford of Listowel and Joyce Morrison of London. Predeceased by 4 sisters Irene Walper, Margaret McBride, Doris Pongracz and Mary Carter and by 4 brothers Harvey, Wilfred, Tom and Elliott Chuter. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, 153 High Street, Clinton on Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 12 Noon until time of the Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Randy Covey of Clinton United Church will officiate. Interment Bayfield Cemetery. Donations to the Arthritis Society, Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or to the Huronview Residents Council would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
