Obituary of Margaret "Ruth" Dougherty

At Wingham and District Hospital on Saturday, August 2, 2014 Margaret "Ruth" Dougherty of Blyth in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Dougherty (1977). Loving mother of Sam Dougherty, Lena & Carl Nesbitt, William & Donna Dougherty all of Londesborough and Patricia Fanson of London. Predeceased by one son Clifford (1968). Cherished grandmother of Ronald, Russell, Brenda, Brian, Carolyn, Steven and great grandmother of Selena, Wyatt, Dalton, Ryan, and Mackenzie. Survived by her sister Violet Fowler of Wardsville and sister-in-law Gladys Thuell of London. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William & Ruth Thuell, her brothers Ross, Sam and James Thuell and her sister Isabell German. Visitation will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Blyth Chapel 407 Queen St. Blyth on Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch no. 420 Blyth will conduct a Legion Service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
