Obituary of John "Jack" Merrill

John "Jack" Samuel Merrill Passed away peacefully at Maitland Manor on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in his 90th year. John "Jack" Merrill was from Clinton, son to the late Ira and Myrtle (Phillips) Merrill. Beloved husband of the late Lula (Tyndall) Merrill. Loving father to Faye and the late Jamieson Ribey of RR#6 Goderich; Lois Jones and Frank Fargnoli of London and Ivan Merrill and Maureen McCulley of Toronto. Lovingly missed by his grandchildren Walter and Penny Ribey, Sherilyn and Adam Delves, Chrystal Jones, Michael and Patricia Jones. Not forgotten by 4 great grandchildren Emelia, Peyton and Wyatt Delves and Ashlynn Jones. Survived by in-laws Mildred Merrill, Lorne Tyndall, Murray and Mary Tyndall, Mary Gibbings and Bill Marshall. Predeceased by brothers Elwin and Ross Merrill and twin sister Marianne Colclough, in-laws George Colclough, Madeleine and Darcy Rathwell, Harriet Tyndall, Norah and Peter Cundy, Ken Gibbings, Ken Tyndall, Irma Marshall and John "Jack" Tyndall. Family and friends will be received at Falconer Funeral Homes on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 27th, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment at Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Clinton United Church, Clinton Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
