Obituary of Linda May Jacklin
Linda May Jacklin of Goderich, formerly of Brussels and Kitchener passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, November 20, 2014 with her family at her side. She was 65. The youngest of 5, Linda was born in Brussels and grew up in Grey Township. In the early 1980's Linda moved her family to Kitchener where she returned to school and became an RNA. She subsequently obtained he Occupational Health designation and worked for several years as an Occupational Health Nurse at Kaufman Footwear in Kitchener until choosing to retire in Goderich. Linda is survived by her spouse Paul Walper and was a loving devoted mother to her children, Lori Patterson of Goderich, Brian Patterson of Kitchener and Gary Patterson and his fiancee Melyssa Holtz of Branchton. Also survived by 2 brothers, Bob Jacklin and Tom (Susan) Jacklin of Kitchener and sister Pat Jacklin (Mark Bennett) of Foster, Quebec. She was predeceased by her parents Carl & Reita Jacklin, one sister Shirley Jacklin and one sister-in-law Mary Jacklin. Linda had a great love of music, gardening and animals and will be dearly missed. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Huron County SPCA. A Memorial Service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at a later date.
