Obituary of John Vernon Stanley

STANLEY: John John Vernon Stanley passed away after a short illness on December 28, 2014 at Maitland Manor in Goderich, Ontario. He was born in 1934. He is predeceased by his father James, mother Jessie and brother James. He leaves behind his sons John (Deb) of Kelowna, B.C, Jeff (Annette) of New Liskeard, Ont; three step children Dan, Jeff and Marra MacSween and his sister Shirley McKinstry of Kintore, Ont. He will also be missed by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Special thanks to Mara and to nephew Rob for the love and support given to Dad. Dad had a full working career in the plumbing and pipefitting industry mainly in Ontario and Alberta. Dad's humour and friendly personality will be greatly missed.
