Obituary of William Douglas Armstrong

ARMSTRONG: William Douglas (Bill) Peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Monday, February 2, 2015. Bill Armstrong of Bayfield in his 92nd year. Beloved husband for 64 years of the late Maude Armstrong (nee MacMath). Dear father and father-in-law of Doug Armstrong, Winnie and Gary Darnbrough, all of Bayfield, Julia Armstrong and John Drahushchak of Ilderton, James Armstrong and Dawn Gingerich of Bayfield and Shirley Armstrong of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Charlene, Scott, Tim and Carley, LeaAnne and Pete, Bronwyn, Alan, Ashton, Devan and Tara, Alex, Aaron, Emma and Patrick, Esther, Eric, Wesley and three great-grandchildren, Chasmine, Liam and Evaritt. Predeceased by his son Alan, brother John Armstrong and sister Mary Lea. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich, Ontario on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 -9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 9 Victoria Street, North, Goderich on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bill Vanderstelt officiating.
