Obituary of Bernice Moore
Bernice Marie (Denomme) Moore was born May 1st, 1934 to Lawrence & Verda (Rau) Denomme in St. Joseph, Ontario. Bernice was the 2nd youngest of 8 children and was also a loving mother of 7 children, and enjoyed her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In between raising her family, farming, working various jobs and volunteering, Bernice was an active member of the Foresters, a competitive curler, and an enthusiastic euchre player. Well known among her family & friends for her community support, generosity and her freezer full of goodies. Always having a strong faith, Bernice was most recently devoted to the Trinity Christian Reformed Church. Bernice passed away peacefully in her home in Goderich, Ontario on Feb. 27th 2015 with her family by her side. Bernice was in her 81st year. Dear mother to Sherry (Herb) Marshall, John (Helene) Moore, Morgan Moore, Lisa (Paul) Markle, Margo Moore, Richard Moore, Adam (Julie) Moore. Grandmother to Jordan, Tyler, Adam, Brianna, Jesse, Mark, Wesley, Katelyn, Blake, Hannah, Isabella, Bennett and Eric. Great grandmother to Mirabell, Claire, Indya and Hazel. Sister and sister-in-law of Clarence & Peggy, Don & Cecelia, Edna, Alf, Ron & Dagamar, and Jean. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years Eric Moore, her siblings and in laws Geraldine & Glen, Cecelia & Colin, Wilfred, John Paul & Anita, Francis & Joan, Lorine, Betty, Dagny, Tom and granddaughter Maxine. Friends will be received at TRINITY CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 245 Mill Road, Goderich, Ontario (519-524-8003) on Sunday March 1st from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm . The funeral service will take place at Trinity Christian Reformed Church on Monday March 2nd at 11am, followed by a social luncheon. Cremation has taken place. As expression of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Trinity Christian Reformed Church or a charity of choice.
