Obituary of Elva Jane Armstrong

Peacefully at Huronlea Home, Brussels on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 Mrs. Elva Jane (Carter) Armstrong of RR#2 Auburn in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Armstrong (2006). Loving mother of Carol & Gerald McDowell and Fred & Ruth Armstrong all of Auburn. Cherished grandmother of Wayne & Claire McDowell, Ron & Alice McDowell, Kim & Allen Walker, Patti & Pat Cronin, Lori & Robert Gordon, Donna Lynn & Brian Merkley and John & Phyllis Armstrong. Also loved and missed by 15 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Irene Wiley of Port Albernie, BC. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes-Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Dr. East, Goderich on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2 pm. Rev. Terry Fletcher officiating. Spring interment at Blyth Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox United Church, Auburn or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
