Obituary of Ralph Stephenson

Peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital on Wednesday April 1, 2015 John "Ralph" Stephenson of RR#1 Varna in his 89th year. Loving husband and best friend of Mona (Reid) for 63 years. Father and father in law of Debora & Don Rathwell, Blaine & Leisa Stephenson, Bill & Carol Stephenson, all of Varna and Dale Stephenson & Sandra Coleman of Arva. Grandfather of David & Melissa Rathwell, Darcy & Caroline Rathwell, Dan & Dani Rathwell, Michael & Michelle Stephenson, Cara Stephenson, Leanne Stephenson, Robert & Deb Stephenson, Ashley & Kenny Lymer, Jamie & Stacey Stephenson, Mark Stephenson and Jason Stephenson. Great grandfather of 10: Weston, Nash, Chloe, Kylee, Hayden, Ava, Chase, Preston, Addison, and Porter. Survived by his sister Joyce & Ron Burt of Welland. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William & Isabelle Stephenson and siblings Julene & Harvey Keys and Ivan & Joan Stephenson and infant great grandson David Rathwell Jr. Visitation will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton Chapel 153 High St. Clinton on Saturday April 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held 2 days later at the Brucefield Community United Church on Monday April 6th at 11 am with visitation commencing one hour prior. Mr. Colin Snyder officiating. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Bayfield Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Brucefield Community United Church, Southwest CCAC, Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
