Mrs. Toll was my grade 3 teacher at Walton Public School. I loved reading about her 'opal ring' <grin>. My sympathy goes out to her family.

Dear,
Cheryl, Vaughn, Kerry, Avon and extended Family.
We were saddened to learn of Aunt Marie`s passing.
I have many fond memories of coming up to visit your Mom and Dads farm when I and Warren were young, 6 and 4 years old maybe. Cold wooden floors in the morning, building hay bale forts in the barn, riding and steering the big tractor and seeing those Gentle Giants, their pride and joy, the Clydesdales. But the one memory that sticks out is when Avon took me for a ride on her horse. Something must have spooked the horse because she bucked both of us off with me landing right on top of Av who was flat on her back. Her first words...'ARE YOU OK'. I landed on her LOL.
Henrietta, Tyssen, Lauren, Natalie along with Myself offer our Sincerest Condolences.
When you`ve settled on a Celebration of Life date for your Mom, we will be happy to help out in anyway we can.
Love
Terry Toll

Don and I are saddened to hear of Mrs. Toll's death. It's difficult to think of a world without this remarkable lady with her indomitable spirit and caring personality. For me, as a young teacher, she was an outstanding principal and my mentor but also my friend. She taught me so much; how to be a better teacher, how to look for the best in all my students and even how to sew! Although we were a small staff we had great times together. She was a superb storyteller and we laughed so much together. We shared a few tears too. I was fortunate to have spent ten wonderful years working with her.
Our condolences to Cheryl, Vaughn, Kerry, Avon and their families.

To Cheryl, Vaughn, Kerry, Avon and all of your families.
It is with heartfelt thoughts that we extend our deepest sympathy to you and your families on the passing of your mother, grandma and great-grandma.
Marie was not only my teacher @ S. S. # 10, where many great memories were made, she was a neighbour growing up and remained a friend throughout the years. She will be greatly missed by all of you, but know that she is now in a better place than she has ever been.
Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dave & Anne (Caldwell) Cottel

My condolences to the Toll family and all of their loved ones.
Cheryl, I would like to say although I never met your mother, I have heard that she was a very respected teacher and member of the community.
I am sorry for the loss and hope the warm spring days will bring you comfort; when you are reminded of your mother and father, back on the farm.
Sincerely:
Pete (Eva) Sprung
