Obituary of Catherine MacKid Jerry

JERRY, Catherine MacKid, nee Barton – Peacefully at University Hospital on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband, Jackson Verdun Burns Jerry (1991) - both life long residents of Goderich, Ontario and members of Knox Presbyterian Church. Devoted and extremely supportive mother of Betsy Little (Tony), Robert Jerry (Cinda), John Jerry (Catherine). Loved and cherished by her grandchildren Christopher (Stephanie Fleming) and Jessica Little (Jason Tuzi), Sean (Brianne Jerry) and Todd Jerry, Caleigh and Melanie Jerry. Catherine's legacy is that of a fine, sweet, loving woman who led an exemplary life of devotion to her family and who, with elegance, dealt with all that life brought to her as if each day were a gift. Catherine loved life and was committed to making tomorrow better than today in everything that she did for family and friends as well as community contribution. Catherine's family is grateful for the care, support and friendship she enjoyed at Mt Hope over the the last three years. A special thank you to her companions Jacquie Lauzon and Sue Wilson. A celebration of Catherine’s life will be conducted at Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive East, Goderich on Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation preceding from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cremation with private interment Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. Catherine would be pleased with remembrances to The Alzheimer's Society London and Middlesex or to a charity of your choice.
