Anne, Brian and the rest of the family, During this time of sadness and sorrow, remember the wonderful times that you had with your Dad, and celebrate the gifts that your father shared with so many. Thank you for sharing him with us - especially during the 40 years on the fire department that he served as a protector to all of us. Dear Marilyn and Family: Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to you, Anne, Cathy, Bradley and families. Don was one of the best. We couldn't have asked for a better man to build our home 37 years ago. We knew nothing, but he guided us through in his kind and gentle manner. Lots of great memories attending the Bayfield Firemen's Dance and having great chats whenever we would meet. this was taken about 7 am the morning of the firemen's breakfast 2009.... he had likely been there for a few hours by then. I am going to miss you friend , your kind face ,your caring conversations , and your paint projects , "just a little more toner and I think we will have the colour I want " he would say. .... we miss you so much already .
