To the MacMillen Family
I had put up a photo of Joe and Margret on my shelf that I recently pulled out of storage and my wife asked who this nice couple were.
I explained that Joe and Margret were a nice couple that I had befriended as they would frequent my family's restaurant and our friendship evolved to the point to where they treated me as their son .
As the years of friendship went on and I left for my duties with the RCMP on the west coast, I would still visit Joe and Margret when I was home on leave and would bring them food from our restaurant and we would eat together and they would tell me their wonderful stories of their lives together.
I've never met a husband and wife that were so truly devoted to eachother and loved eachother the way they did.
As life for me got more and more hectic, (as with everyone) I lost touch with Margret after she has transitioned to Maitland Manner, she still remained in my thoughts as to this day.
My wife suggested I google her name to find out about Margret and it led me to this page.
I love and miss them both and I don't know if any of her family members still monitor this anymore, but it has brought some closure for me to know that she is finally back together with Joe and Jeffery up in heaven.
Rest in peace my dear Margret
