Obituary of Helen Elaine Sabo

SABO: Helen Elaine It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Elaine Sabo (nee Dannacker) of Goderich, Ontario on September 20, 2015, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Jerry, loving mother to Cindy, Michael and Valerie and mother in law to Phil. Proud grandmother to Sophia and Isabel, and dear sister of Keith (Shulamit), Norma (Norman) and Diane (predeceased by Neville). Helen will also be remembered by many as a loving aunt, cousin and friend. Helen cherished her 51 year marriage with Jerry, starting their life together in Montreal, then Georgetown and then in Goderich for the last 25 years. Helen was actively involved in many interests and community groups including Healthy Hearts, Toastmasters and book clubs, and enjoyed travel, rug hooking, golfing and Sunset Beach. Helen's love for her husband, her family, her generosity with her friends and her energy for her community will never be forgotten. Mom/Grandma, we love you and you will be sorely missed. We will continue to honour your good values and your love of life. Internment and a service will be held in Montreal. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
