Obituary of Floyd Allen Mercer

On Thursday, September 24, 2015 at his residence, Floyd Allen Mercer of Vanastra and formerly of Kitchener and Thessalon in his 75th year. Recently predeceased by his wife Susanne (Gruume) Mercer (July 2015). Loving father of Kelly, Dwayne, Tracy, Greg and step-father of Richard and Nicole. Cherished grandfather of Dillon, Cole, Tyler, Kayle, Stephen, Shawn, Danielle, Breanne, Carlee, Garret, Matthew, Kelsey and great grandfather of 10. Dear brother of Darlene & Richard Walsh and Vera & Roley Sindia and brother-in-law of Robert Jondreau. Remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. Missed by Lillian and Cheryl. Floyd was outgoing and well loved by the many people he knew. Predeceased by his parents Benjamin & Phyllis, brother Gerry & Fran Mercer and sister Sharon Jondreau. At Floyd's request cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Floyd's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 524 Belmont Ave West, Kitchener on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
