Dear Almey Family:
My deepest sympathies in your loss. I worked with and was a neighbour of Jack in Fort Saskatchewan so many years ago. Jack was a true scientist, always working on something interesting, always inquisitive, and always eager to share what he knew.

We were long time neighbours of Jack and Ellie in the key-hole crescent in Fort Saskatchewan.
Jack was a kind and good neighbour. Always had something interesting to talk about, such as politics, and he liked to get involved in the community.
We missed them both very much when they returned to Ontario.
Our deepest condolences to all family and friends.
John and Kay Robertson.

Dear Almey Family:
Our sincerest sympathy in the loss of your Dad. Jack was always such a presence in our church community at Mandaumin. Being the Sunday School superintendent for years when we were little kids made him "the man" to look up to every week. I remember him as the guy that usually had something new he was talking about or looking into. I can think of a "new" station wagon he had just bought appeared at church with the men of the congregation checking it over after the service. It had features that the local farmers had not yet seen - the rear view mirror even had a night setting! It was hard to see him in his later years being slowed down so much with age and condition, but I know he was well loved and cared for to the end. Here is to a life well lived. Our thoughts are with you all.
Keith and Wendy

We will forever remember Jacks warm welcome at the First United Church in Fort Saskatchewan. Jack was among the first to welcome our family to the congregation and with Ellie became close friends to us and our girls, Kimberly and Kaylynn. We often lunched with Jack and Ellie after church, and looked forward to seeing them each and every week. We will miss you Jack. Anne, Bill, Kimberly and Kaylynn.

Dear Mary, your Sister, Brother's and families,
I am so sorry to read of your Dad's passing...it is a tough go when parents pass in such a short time between each other. May God give you strength and comfort in the days to come. Caring Hugs, Donanne
