Obituary of Laura Margaret McLarty

McLarty: Laura Margaret Laura Margaret McLarty (nee Robinson) passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015 in her 91st year at Goderich Place Retirement Residence. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Theodore McLarty (February 9, 2008). Dear mother of Franklin McLarty and his wife Marie of Goderich and Catherine Murray and her husband Fred of Rosalind, Alberta. Cherished Grandmother of Jeffrey McLarty, Paul McLarty and his wife Kelly, Heather Strugnell and her husband Ken. Loving Great Grandmother of Breanna McLarty, Victoria McLarty, Amber Strugnell and Gavin Strugnell. Predeceased by her sister Audrey Blakely (October 29, 2010). Survived by her sisters Sheila Dunning, Shirley O'Connell, Doris Jennings and brothers Douglas Robinson and George Robinson all from the Peterborough area. Also missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich, on Monday, November 30 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, December 1st from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Laura was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch #109, Goderich, therefore a brief Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday evening at 9:00 p.m. The family wish to invite you to a luncheon back at the Funeral Home following the interment at Maitland Cemetery.
