So many memories of a wonderful woman, and couple, for whom I have so much love and respect. Both Pietje and Wobbe were such solid, dependable, good people and neighbours. And though I know this was her wish for a long time, it makes me sad just the same... so many have left us recently who impacted so many lives. I will never forget a visit with Wobbe and Pietje many years ago when they came to Prince Edward Island in their motor home. Somehow, in what seemed like the blink of an eye, our relationship had evolved from that of a little girl and her neighbours from back home, to one of three adults discussing life, faith and only the things that really matter. We had a visit filled with laughter and tears, that I will cherish forever. My deepest sympathies to you all.
