Laura, Marie, Daryl and families. Our deepest sympathies from the Wilton family on the passing of Bill!
We will always remember the summer visits when you travelled from the west to Ontario. There was lots of laughter and good times together. My Dad, Neil and Bill were childhood friends that lasted a life time. We loved hearing the stories they shared of growing up at Knox Normanby, families in the community, and life on the farm. We got to know both of them better as they reminisced. Their generation were great story tellers leaving us with great memories.
We will not be able to attend the visitation or service and really sorry not to share our sympathies in person. It would have been nice to reconnect again. We have sent a donation to Knox Presbyterian Church Normanby in memory of Bill.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers!
God Bless!

Dear Laura, Marie & family & Daryl:
I was so sorry to see that Bill has passed away. My condolences to all of you. I have some great memories of your visits here when you ministered out west. Memories are something that can't be replaced or taken away.
I'm so thankful that I had that visit with you, Bill, Marie & their figure skating girls! How lovely that we had that last time together. Bill was always so very pleasant and I can still hear him and Don exchanging their "days of old" happenings and the laughter that they generated. Now the two of them can be at it again in heaven. How wonderful to know they are both with the Lord! That gives great inner peace....I know it did me.
I wish I could get to the funeral, but being winter and the way the weather is and has been, I'm not going to venture out but certainly will make a plan to come for a visit when the winter is over.
My love to all of you and know this that all of you are in my prayers.
With thoughts and sadness,
Kathryn

I have always felt at times like this there is so little to say,,for there are no words that have ever been invented to fit the loss of a loved one. Your loss is shared by many who care and sylmpathathize more than words can say.
God bless you Laura and family.

Dear Laura, Marie, Neil & family: Knox Bayfield have many fond memories of Bill when he ministered to us for several years. He was our "winter minister" from Sept. (when summer students left) until May (when a new student came). He truly epitomized traditional ministry and we could be sure of a good "Bible-based" sermon each Sunday and singing all the old familiar hymns.
There was always that extra sparkle and smile from Bill whenever the grandchildren would attend church and offer special music.
Both Bill and Laura are very special to the congregation at Knox Bayfield and we extend our deepest sympathy.
Memories are wonderful and we hope each of you will treasure the special ones you hold in your hearts and they will help to sustain you as your mourn his loss. I know Knox Bayfield will not forget him.
Prayerfully,
Brenda McLean
