Obituary of Berneice McIlwain

McIlwain: Berneice Peacefully in her sleep at the age of 92 Mom passed into the arms of her husband Stanley who paved the path for her in 2006. Survived by her children Walter McIlwain & Anne Elliott, Carol Dixon, and Catherine. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Shawn Dixon, Kim Dixon & Jeff Butler, Kevin McIlwain, Jason McIlwain & Angela. Also loved by her great grandchildren, Conner & Emma Dixon, and Noah & Laynee McIlwain. Survived by her sister Vera & Lloyd Penfound, sister in law Islay Johnston, and brother in law Charles Fuller. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Gordon Johnston, and sister Helen Fuller. Our parents had a great time Square and Round Dancing around all parts of Canada, and they loved to travel taking them from Alaska to Hong Kong to Australia. Mom always said they almost got to every continent except Africa. One of Mom's great passions in later years was reading taking on the sudoku and cross word puzzles keeping her mind very alert. Her current passion was the I-Pad. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Dr. E., Goderich, on Friday from 2-5 p.m. Where the funeral service will be held on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. Spring interment Maitland Cemetery, Goderich.
