Doris was always such a sweet, loving, compassionate person. She taught me a great deal when I worked as a Candy Stripper at Goderich Hospital. She had a great deal of influence on me when it came clear that I wished to become a nurse. She was so supportive in my choice, and always interested in how my education was going. Even years later when she was a resident of Goderich Place and I was the General Manager, she remembered who I was and we had some enjoyable conversations.
Her came approach to any situation always set patients and staff at easy. I will miss her greatly, but, always remember her. My life is better having known her.
