Dear Fran and Family,
We were saddened to hear of George's passing, not for us but for your loss and the loss to all of us left to carry on until that time when we will be taken home as well. Words can't express how much George meant to us. He was our "Paul" who opened up the door to, as George would say "Dark Door County." A preacher, shepherd, mentor, encourager, brother in Christ, and true friend. He was such a huge part in planting this little assembly in Jacksonport (Egg Harbor) and in helping us obtain the gospel hall here. We can never say thank you enough for all he has done for us. Every time we look at the texts on the wall in our hall we think of him. We will miss him dearly. But what a welcome he must have gotten when he opened his eyes in heaven. We were just talking about he and Dancel now in the presence of our dear Lord. May God wrap his arms around you during this difficult time.
The Jacksonport Assembly will be making a donation in George's name to one of the foundations you mentioned. All our love and sympathy,
