Obituary of Phyllis Harland

Phyllis Ruth Harland (nee Hardcastle) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Riverview Heights Retirement Home in Pembroke, Ontario in her 96th year. She was predeceased in 1993 by her husband Garnet Harland. Also predeceased by her eldest daughter Patricia Ward. Left to mourn are her son Bob (Brenda) Harland of Alliston, daughter Mary-Beth (Ken) Whitmore of Petawawa and son David (JoAnn) Harland of Fergus; six grandchildren, Tricia (Rob) DeVeau of Stouville, Rob (Jen) Harland of Stouville, Andrea (Chad) Cardinal of North Bay, Kevin (Maryanne) Whitmore of Peterborough, Lindsay (Kyle) Cook of Drayton, Catherine (Paul) Klausen of Guelph. Proud great-grandmother of four, Cade Cardinal, Austin and Ava DeVeau and Charlotte Cook. Survived by sister Barbara (Cecil) Halpert of Windsor. A Funeral Service will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes-Clinton Chapel 153 High St. Clinton on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation commencing at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Randy Covey officiating. Interment Baird's Cemetery, Stanley Twp. Memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
