Obituary of Egbert William Renkema

Egbert "Bert" Renkema of Clinton passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 14, 2016 with his wife by his side. He is now reunited with his daughters Carla, Brenda and grandson Owen. Dear husband of Linda (De Jonge) Renkema. Loving father of Eric (Marya) Renkema, Colleen (Julian) Hopman, Adam (Amy) Renkema and son in law Michael Trautrimas. Dear Opa of Evan, Darren, Liam, Isaac and Ayden. Survived by his siblings Tony Vandendool, Bill Horinga, Corrie Clark, Garma (John) Markus, Albert (Christine) Renkema, Ralph (Shirley) Renkema and his in laws Harry (Anita) De Jonge, Hank (Linda) De Jonge and Mary De Jonge. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Winnie Vandendool, Margaret Horinga and in laws Nellie De Jonge and Jerry De Jonge. His love for his family was evident to all and he will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at the Clinton Christian Reformed Church, 243 Princess St. East on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. Pastor Ron Luchies officiating. Spring interment, Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Room 2 Grow or Knox Christian School would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Falconer Funeral homes, Clinton.
