Obituary of Robert David Beattie

David passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday August 21, 2013 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband for 50 years of Mary Jean (Colquhoun) Beattie. Loving father of Bryan (Fayeanne) Beattie of Oakville, and Lisa (Mark) Germann of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of Lauren & Ashley Beattie, and Davis & Taylor Germann. Dear brother of Bev (John) Elliott of Blyth. For many years Dave was the owner of Beattie Furniture and Beattie Funeral Home in Clinton. Cremation has taken place. Interment of Ashes will take place at the Clinton Cemetery, on Tuesday August 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. A celebration of Dave's life will follow after at the Clinton Legion, 95 Kirk St., Clinton, from 12 until 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
