My condolences to all of Peter's family. I just heard today and was shocked. Peter was a great guy and had a passion for the outdoors and gardening. Thanks Peter for sharing some tips for controlling gardening pests with me last spring. Rest in Peace.

Tim and I remember Pete as a wonderful neighbour and friend near the little village of Kimberley. He was also a friend to the woods and soil and was content with life in the outdoors. We often used to drive in to say "Hello" and admire his vegetable garden. We will plant some daffodils in the fall in memory of Pete. He will be missed.

Sincere sympathy is extended to all of Pete's family and friends. Pete was
Such a quiet and good man, so very considerate of everyone he knew. I worked with Pete for many years in Clinton at Ontario Hydro. Pete was the 'keeper' of the map system and kept them in suberb condition. Such a great overall person!

Dear Bill and Betty:
Pete was a wonderful cousin. He was a kind and generous man.We remember how he drove to Maple to help Bob in the final house inspection before we took possession of our new home. His expertise was greatly appreciated.
We know that his hospitality and cooking made the weeks of Deer Hunting
a highlight of Bob's year. We will always keep the memories of him

Dear Colyer Family
There are truly no words that adequately express the sadness that our family feels about Pete's passing. Pete and Bill have always been such tremendously loyal friends to our family. Always willing to lend a hand, always interested in the lives of our children (and even coming to watch their sporting events), always willing to share the bounty of their garden, always calling to check in. Pete also supported and promoted outdoor lifestyle with my children especially my son Drew. Hunt season was always a special time at Pete and Bill's. I will also never forget the absolute dedication that Pete exhibited in his support to our family when my Dad, Ken, died last year. Pete was a true gentleman. He was a 'salt of the earth' kind of guy. It is without a doubt that the lives of our family was enriched because of Pete. Our deepest condolences to all of you,
With Love Jodi, Joren, Drew, and Warren

Betty and Bill..........Pete was always a gentle soul......after my husband died Pete would occasionally send me a nature shot....something calm and beautiful like deer feeding or fresh snow on the ground. He obviously found peace in nature and that was his way of helping me find some peace with my loss. Losing a loved one can seem unbearable at times but hopefully comforting to have such wonderful memories to help us through. Thoughts and prayers with you and your mom...
