Obituary of Mildred Bourne

BOURNE: MILDRED ERMA (FLETCHER) November 18, 1924 - October 6, 2013. Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday October 6, 2013 at Huronview Home, Clinton in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late John Bourne (2000). Dear mother of Dianne (Pierre) Vanhaelemeesch, David (Mary Lou) Bourne, and Elaine (Paul) Manley. Loving grandmother of Michael Vanhaelemeesch, Julie (Mark) Bromaroff, Chris (Cindy) Vanhaelemeesch, Sherri (Jeff) Walden, Steve (Jenn) Bourne, Grant, Jacqui, and Dan Manley and 16 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother Tom (Ruth) Fletcher and sister June (Don) McCaughen. Predeceased by her parents Alvin & Elizabeth Fletcher, infant daughter Jacqueline, infant twin great-granddaughters, sisters Dorothy Kennedy, Margaret Trevena, brothers in law Stan Kennedy, Fred Travena, and nephew John Kennedy. Due to Erma's wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Ontario, on Monday October 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Osteoporosis Society or the Charity of One's Choice would be appreciated.
