Dianne, we are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. His life was full of many happenings. I have many memories working with Ron on Clinton Town Council and am quite aware of his love for his community. He left many legacies in his multitude of contributions through teaching, sports and agriculture, to name only a few, that he made to this community. He never ceased to be a farmer both in heart and deed and was unceasing in his tributes to agriculture and a strong force behind the continuance of Clinton Spring Fair. He will be missed but his memory will live on.

Thinking of all of you at this time. Ron was a mentor for me in my young years and he has left a lasting image with me. I,m sorry I could not get to the ceremony today, as the weather was very precarious both here and Clinton. Be at peace with Ron,s passing knowing what a great person he was. He will be missed but never forgotten.

We are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a good friend through the years- one special memory for me was ,on a stormy, icy day, like yesterday, before the roads were fixed, that Londesboro Road had some brutal hills, and I couldn't seem to get up one of the hills- to get to school - and I'd just slip back down. So I went into my grandma 's farm which was right there, and phoned the school to explain my predicament. Ron answered, listened to my story, said to hold on. I thought two of us would be missing school, but Rons truck had no trouble. I'm pretty sure he had chains but whatever, it meant some teasing.
Ron had a great sense of humour, and I enjoyed the time we worked together.
Again, our condolences on your loss.
Sincerely,
Allan and Barb Bosman

Ron always made it a point to attend the Zurich Fair.
Even this past July he phoned me to warn me that he will be down a few pounds and of course he had a few corny jokes to pass along.
I, and the rest of the Zurich Ag Society, will really miss his smile and positive attitude.
my most sincere condolences.

Dear Dianne, Susan, Audra, Ron and Families
Our deepest condolences at this sad time. Ron was a beacon for our family, a dear eldest grandson, nephew and cousin. He was was our role model for pride in family, rural values, hard work, and the importance of education and civic duty.
Remembering fondly our many visits to the farm, the tours of the livestock, and the wonderful family reunions where warm hugs, euchre games and mounds of delicious food were a constant.
At this time of year, will always remember the delicious Christmas pudding, and Ron's insistence that Grandma's recipe, with caramel sauce were followed to the letter. I have a very touching memory of when he spend a day with Mom a couple of years ago, making the pudding together, as she could no longer manage it herself.
He was a great man in every way, and we'll all miss him very much.
Love Lori and Paul
