(60 year member of the Hullett Masonic Lodge No. 568 A.F. & A.M.)

Passed away peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Bert Lyon of Londesborough in his 85th year. Beloved husband for almost 61 years of Joanne (nee Easom). Dear father and father-in-law of Wayne and Jane Lyon of Clinton, Kathy and Ron Moes of Ladner, British Columbia and Cheryl and Calvin Bakelaar of Auburn. Loving Grandpa to Justin (Kim), Brittany, Laura (Harrison), Kerissa (Daniel), AJ, Michelle (Andrew), Jordan and Monica. Special Great-Grandpa to Ayden, Kohen, Madelyn, Grayson, Zion, Rayah and Carter. Brother-in-law to Marlene and Ron Baer of Salford. Predeceased by his brother Murray Lyon and sister Marguerite Neil.

Bert was born and raised on the 13th of Hullet and lived his entire life in the Londesboro area. After a farming career he drove a school bus, feed truck and was a driver for Children's Aid. Bert was a lifetime member of the Londesboro United Church and enjoyed socializing at local coffee shops. He made friends wherever he went. Bert enjoyed square and round dancing, snowmobiling, bowling and spending time with his family.

Friends will be received at Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton Chapel, 153 High Street, Clinton on Thursday, February 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Londesborough United Church, 338 King's Road, Londesborough, Ontario on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment, Blyth Union Cemetery. The Hullett Masonic Lodge No. 568 A.F. & A. M. will hold a memorial service at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.
