Obituary of Bill Chowen

Peacefully at his residence on Sunday May 13, 2012 Mr. William James Chowen of R.R # 3., Clinton in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Beverlie ( Smith ) Chowen. Loving father and father-in-law of Beth & Lalit Jain of Georgetown, Carol & Larry Mitchell and Darlene Prouse all of Clinton. Sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren Justin and Rajiv Jain, Gabrielle and Jasmine Mitchell, Dana Prouse, Devon Prouse and his wife Jenna. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Isobel and Joe Gibson of R.R.# 2, Seaforth. In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends were invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Clinton on Friday May 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Karine Farmer officiated. A reception for family and friends followed at St. Paul's Anglican Church Parish Hall. Those wishing to place a donation in memory of Bill are asked by the family to consider the Ausable - Bayfield Conservation Authority or St. Paul's Anglican Church as an expression of sympathy.
