Alan Franklin Cook died on Saturday February 2, 2019 at the Stratford General Hospital. Son of the late William F. and Esther Cook.  Survived by his sister Lynda and brother in law Ron King of Lakeside., and his 3 nephews Jeffrey (Nathalie), Michael (Allison), and David King and his great nieces Elizabeth, Ainsley, Lindsey, Elena, and great nephews Rowan and Riagan.  Predeceased by his grandparents William J. and Avelinia Cook of Clinton, Sharzel and Jean McIntyre of St. Mary's ; his beloved Aunt & Uncle Frank and Elva Mutch of Clinton, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Although he considered Clinton and Goderich home, he spent many happy years living in Stratford.  He was employed for 23 years at Hudson's of Stratford for the Helperin family and later at Bradshaw's.  He liked to share his keen interest in old movies and history with his many friends and was most happy hosting parties at his home.  At Alan's request there will be no funeral home visitation and a burial service will be held at Clinton Cemetery at a later date.  Cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stratford General Hospital.  Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton entrusted with arrangements.  Messages of Condolence for Alan's family may be placed at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com
