ROWE: Edward Walter (Ted)
Ted Rowe passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in his 89th year.
Ted is survived by his wife Lois (nee Fisher), children Hope (Warren) Miller of Listowel, Nancy (Gerald) Hakkers of Auburn, Sandra (Jim) Brown of Brussels and Mark (Sherry) Rowe of Ashfield-Colborne- Wawanosh Township. Also survived by grandchildren Jud (Jen) Hakkers, Alicia Rowe, Jesse (Alicia) Hakkers, Catrina Josling, Jeff (Stephanie) Rowe, Devon Josling, Sara Miller, Chris Brown and great-grandchildren Carlie, Logan, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Blake, Naomi, Forest and Hudson.
Ted was predeceased by his parents Walter and Elizabeth Rowe, sister Edna Wilkins and brothers Stan and Douglas Rowe.
Ted was employed for over 50 years at Champion Road Machinery and was a long-standing member of the Antique Grader Club. Ted was born and raised in Paris, Ontario and moved to Goderich and eventually Benmiller where he lived with his wife Lois to whom he was married for 64 years.
At Ted's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family celebration of his life will be held later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in Ted's memory to the Diabetes Association, Cancer Society or the Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
