Obituary of Raymond Snell

At Huronview Home for the aged, Clinton, on Monday December 23, 2013 Mr. Raymond "Doug" Snell formerly of Londesborough in his 90th year. Beloved husband and best friend for 65 years of Florence (McPherson) Snell. Loving father of Larry & Janice Snell of Goderich, Jayne & Ken Slade of Cambridge, Jo-Anne & Bill Cantelon of Woodstock, and Julie & Steve Gibbings of Clinton. Grandpa Doug of Susan & Ron, Scott & Christina, Kaleigh & Nick, Laura & Luke, Reece & Emy, Fraser & Rosy, Amy, Erin & Scott, Jordan & Jenna. G.G. Doug of 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty Fisher of Goderich, and brother in law of Jean & Tom Wade of London. Predeceased by granddaughter Rachel, and by his siblings, Helen Heuton, Jack (Marion) Snell, Elva (Bob) Peck, and by brother in law Ray Fisher. At Doug's request cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate Doug's life at the Londesborough Memorial Hall, Londesborough, on Satuday January 18, 2014 from 1 - 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Huron County Home for the Aged (Huronview Residents Council 500 Wing) or Londesborough United Church would be appreciated.
