With great sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Nethery, of Goderich and formerly of Blyth, on Friday July 26, 2019 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Wm. Alex Nethery. Loving mother of Larry & Cathy Nethery of Blyth, Connie (the late Murray) Nesbitt of Blyth, Joyce & Dave Ireland of Teeswater, Brenda & Greg Cardiff of Listowel, Denise & Bill Tedesco of Wingham, and Angela & Wade Berard of Bayfield. Cherished grandmother of Becky, Benjamin, Bonnie & Evan, Jeff & Michelle, Catherine & Don, Rodney & Kristen, Thomas & Melinda, Nich & Jen, Jenn & Brian, Paul & Arlene, Kristy & Bret, Alexander, Zachary, Jordan, and Mackenzie. Great grandmother of 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Roy Dawson, Mae Ritchie, Florence Machan, and Murray & Sonja Dawson. Predeceased by her parents Phil & Jenny Dawson, infant son Cameron Nethery, sister Lois Dawson, brother Harold Dawson, and by her in laws Matilda Dawson, Mervin Ritchie, Doug Machan, Isabel & Charlie Scanlon, Marion & Jack Snell, and Jean & Ray Potter. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes – Blyth Chapel, 407 Queen St., Blyth on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 166 Dinsley St., Blyth, on Thursday August 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment follow at Blyth Union Cemetery.
