Obituary of Tom Duizer

Anton "Tom" Duizer died suddenly on January 4th surrounded by his loving family at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich in his 74th year. Survived by his wife of 49 years Marjorie (Hunking). Also survived by his children Laurel (Mark) Mitchell of Clinton; Lisa (Shane) Walker of Guelph; Stephen (Christina) Duizer of Camlachie; Shannon (Bill) McDonald of Exeter. Loved by his grandchildren Amanda, Jacquelyn and Tyler Mitchell, Jessica, Hanna and Sydney Duizer, Caleigh and Devyn Clark, Kale and Nathan McDonald. Sadly missed by his sisters and brothers in law Janet Hunking (Harold Gibbings); Gerdina Kennedy; Audrey (Bruce) Lyndon; Art Hunking (Dorothea Kehrer). Also remembered by Murray (Kathy) Hunking as well as his many friends and family. Predeceased by his parents Arie and Trui Duizer and brothers in law Joe Hunking and Wayne Kennedy. At Tom's request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Falconer Funeral Homes-Clinton Chapel, 153 High St. on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Londesborough United Church, 338 King St. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of ashes at Hope Chapel Cemetery in the spring. Donations may be made to Londesborough United Church, Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation or Clinton Public Hospital Foundation.
