Peacefully at Huron Residential Hospice, on Thursday August 22, 2019, Mrs. Joyce Elaine (Jewitt) Dowson of Varna in her 82nd year.  Beloved wife of Bill Dowson for 59 years.  Loving mother of Brenda & Scott Consitt of Varna, Bonnie Groot of Hensall, and John Dowson & Virginia James of Varna.  Cherished grandmother of Stacey & Cody Anderson, Kelly Consitt & Mike Crete, Kim, and Steven Consitt, Michael & Lindsay Groot, Matthew & Kaylene Groot, Justin & Brittany Groot, Jeremy Groot, Alysha Dowson & Jeff Boyes, Jayme Dowson & Perry Weido, Krysten Dowson & Matt Diehl, Jason & Adel Dowson.  Treasured by her great grandchildren.  Dear sister of John & Barb Jewitt, Dennis & Phyllis Jewitt, Janice Preszcator, Bonnie Jewitt, Don & Pat Jewitt, Larry & Jessie Jewitt, Ken & Mary Jewitt, and Steven & Rose Jewitt.  Predeceased by her parents William & Ella Jewitt, and brother Ross & Kevin Jewitt.  Friends will be received at the Stanley Township Complex  38572 Mill Rd., Varna on Thursday August 29, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday August 30, 2019 at 11 a.m  Cremation.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Huron Residential Hospice would be appreciated.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton.  Messages of Condolence for the Dowson Family may be placed at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com
