June and Stan Johns are sending our sympathy to all the Lobb families..his father and to Helen that I have met a few years ago and her family.
Never had a talk with such a quiet smiling person until one day at the Celtic Festival at a picnic table and enjoyed it so very much. The Horticulture group will surely miss him!

Dear Jim and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Tom's sudden passing. We spent many a great time with Tom on the outings that he planned for us as a member of the Huron Fringe Field Naturalists. His tremendous knowledge about nature and his friendly manner will be sorely missed.
He was a great and valued friend who will be sadly missed but forever remembered.
Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Helen and family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy to your entire family, with the sudden passing of Tom. He was such a valued member to our Clinton Horticultural Society. I will always remember the garden tours he and Jerry so painfully arranged for our enjoyment. My personal little joke with him was as he painfully toured the hills!! Well at least your not letting any grass grow under your feet. It was also such an honor to present him with an award in 2019,and he will be sorely missed by all our members. Now he has earned his wings he can soar among the butterflies he loved and enjoyed so much. Our Society members will miss him terribly.

Dear Lobb Family
I am so sad to hear about Tom's death. My thoughts and sympathies are with all of you during this difficult time.
Tom was one of my very first marsh volunteers when I began working at Bird Studies Canada -- 25 years ago. I always looked forward to seeing his work and to hear how Hullet Marsh was doing.

My deepest condolences to the Lobb family. Tom was a wealth of knowledge and so well respected. I always enjoyed chatting with Tom when I bumped into him at meetings or out in the field looking for birds. He truly left his mark on Huron County and will be missed.

Dear Lobb Family,
We are saddened at the sudden loss of Tom. He was a very brilliant biologist who loved to share his vast knowledge of flora and fauna.
His studies of reptiles and amphibians at Hullett Marsh were very important to understanding the importance of wildlife habitats.
Tom will live on at Hullett Marsh in programs such as our turtle nest protection.

We are deeply saddened by Tom's passing and send our sincere condolences to his family. He was such an important member of the Huron Fringe Field Naturalists. A walk with Tom was never fast but what an education as he pointed out interesting plant, bird and insect species. We enjoyed attending Ontario Nature regional meetings with him where he was always warmly welcomed by Ontario Nature staff and fellow naturalists from regional clubs. We were privileged to work with him on conservation projects such as the GG Newton Nature reserve and turtle conservation. We miss him.

Dear Jim and Family,
So sorry to hear that Tom passed away. So sudden and much too young. We have fond memories of the days we picked up your milk. Those were good days with many happy memories. Leaving this life is sad but going Home is such a comfort. May the Lord Jesus comfort all of you. Hank and Beryl
