FORBES: DONALD SHAW Peacefully at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich, on Saturday January 11, 2020, Mr. Donald Shaw Forbes formerly of Goderich Twp., in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Ashton) Forbes. Loving father of Paul Forbes of Kitchener, Rick & Carol Forbes of North Cobalt, Brad Forbes of Clinton, Lisa & Jason Hayter of Varna, and Lori Forbes of Goderich. Cherished grandpa of Daniel (Lori-Anne), Adam, Jason (Brooke), Jeff (Laurel), Corrie (Jeremy), Cameron (Ashley), Coleson (Becky), Logan, Luke, Ryan, Lauren, and Dean. Also loved by 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother and brother in law of Murray & Marlene Forbes, Mary Lynn Iacobellis, and Cecilia Ashton. Predeceased by his parents Walter & Grace Forbes, parents in law Cliff & Norma Ashton, sister Joyce & Ron Taylor, and in laws Vic Iacobellis, Shirley & Jim Comerford, and Keith Ashton. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don’s life will be held at the Huron Fish & Game Club 278 Alma Street, Clinton on Sunday January 26, 2020 from 1 – 4 p.m. Memorial donations to Clinton Public Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
