I shall never forget the humour (which I found a little tricky to follow as an English 20 year old in Ontario) which Great Uncle John and Great Aunt Celia shared. But it was one that flowed effortlessly between them. When staying with them in 1996 with my Granny Marcelle, we had numerous trips out, and Uncle John would always remark on oh how polite the people were? "Gee Celia , did you hear that? They wished us good day!" the two were like a double act. To stay with them on the banks of Lake Huron was a special time, and when Uncle John came to rescue me from The Bruce Peninsula - a round trip of around 4 hours - I couldn't have been more delighted to see him. Uncle John was truly a fun, and lovely person with a fantastic positive aura. All our love from England x.
