Obituary of Clarence McNichol

Clarence Andrew McNichol passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Huronview Home, Clinton. Clarence was born on September 2nd, 1932 to the late Andrew & Verna (Flood) McNichol. He will be missed greatly by his children Michael & Sally McNichol of Clinton and Diane & Greg MacKinnon of Dryden. He was a caring grandfather to Laura & Chris Taylor, Sarah & Scott McNichol, Jared, Megan and Chloe MacKinnon; "Great" grandpa Clarence to Brayden, Alexis and Lane Taylor. He will be remembered by his sister and brother-in-law Sharon & bob Elliott and their family of Kitchener. Clarence was predeceased by his wife Penny. He was a kind and caring man who was always concerned about others. He enjoyed a good joke. In the past he was very involved in the Thamesville Legion and missed those social times. The family would like to thank all those who cared for him these last few months. We will miss him. Friends are invited to come and go at a Celebration of Life, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Clinton Legion. Memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
