My deepest condolences to the family. I went through school with Irene and we hung out for a while after our schooling was done. She was a lot of fun and will be missed by many I am sure.

Sincere condolences to Irene’s family. Irene was a very talented lady and she always made me laugh when working with her at Libro Clinton Branch. I’ll always remember her hard work attitude while still having time to bring in treats for the staff or something she has made and knew you would benefit from using her items which were always beautifully made. Miss you my friend.

Sincere sympathy to all of Irene’s loved ones. Far to young to have to say good bye to. I worked with Irene and she was a loyal employee with wonderful work Habits, may she Rest In Peace after her tired body had to give up the fight.
Sincerely, Deb Strachan

Irene was not only a former co-worker but a dear friend to me and my family. Her passion for sewing and quilt making will be forever evident in my home as she made many gifts to myself and grandson Chevy. She took a special interest in him before he was born but knew he would be affected by Spina Bifida. With her giving nature she offered to make and donate a quilt to be raffled as a fundraiser within our workplace to raise funds for Stem Cell Collection at his birth. Chevy is almost six and knows very well that Auntie Irene made the Tree of Life wall hanging lovingly displayed over his bed at Nana's for when he came for sleepovers. That "Tree" is the focus of many games of "I Spy with My Little Eye". Her sense of compassion and devotion to him will never be forgotten. I will so miss her presence and sense of humor.
