Obituary of Roy Taggart

TAGGART: Roy Peacefully at his home in Goderich on Sunday, October 4, 2020. William Roy Samuel Taggart of Goderich and formerly of Little Current, Manitoulin Island at the age of 61. Beloved husband for 40 years of Sandra Taggart (nee McClinchey). Dear father of Sara and her husband Josiah McCue of Goderich, Melissa and her husband Michael Kuchta of Hornepayne and Samuel Taggart of Goderich. Grandpa of Natalia, Lillie, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Serena, Chloe, Claire and Grace. Predeceased by his parents, Bill and Helen Taggart, his brother Ross and grandson Nathaniel. Also survived by his sister Nancy Taggart (the late David Sanborn) of Summerside, PEI, his parents-in-law Garth and Ruth McClinchey of Goderich, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. At Roy's request, cremation has taken place. Due to COVID19 restrictions, a Memorial Service will be held and announced later next spring, which was Roy's favourite time of year. Interment of ashes, Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
