I am saddened by Jerry’s passing and want to give my sincere condolences to the family. I went to high school with Jerry and played on the football team with him. He was always a great guy and a real team leader. We attended 40th anniversary reunion at the golf course and really enjoyed the day.

To Millie
Sincere condolences to you and the others in Gerry's family.
I was amazed to learn that a golf course had been "built" on the farm where I grew up.
Having two sons and a grandson who are golfers, I promised them the experience of playing
on their grand and great-grandfather's farm. Well, COVID didn't let that happen this summer.
Perhaps with Gerry gone, it will never happen, but will wait and see.
I had the pleasure of meeting Gerry at Bill's funeral.

As the Celebration of Life ceremony has completed I would like to thank you, Suellen, William, Robyn and Jordan, Randy and Victor for a wonderful send off of a dear friend ( family) of ours.
I cant help but remember my own story of Gerrys patience while I learned to golf. Gerry always telling me, " its ok Janet. We ll watch the ball for ya". Oh the patience that man had as I completed my first golf weekend swinging for the bleachers over and over and over and.. Well you get the idea. Think I threw my back out once or twice. lol.
Im sure David has quite a few memories of his beginning at Bluewater Youth Centre when Gerry and Suellen and David were the newest crew to sign on. That is when we, as couples, began our stories together. Too many years to condence into a single thought..
We will miss greatly.

Sorry to hear of Gerry passing. Grew up with him in earlier days, through public & high school years - a close neighbour from just across the road. Rode with him regularly on the bus to school - (recall feeling sorry for Gerry having to walk out that ‘long’ lane to catch the bus – rain, snow or shine). Always remember him as an easy-going, fun loving, and kind-hearted neighbour; liked Gerry.
Sending my condolences to the Lobb Family.

Gerry Lobb has been such a kind, warm, strong presence in our lives since we moved to Maitland line two years ago. A great and patient teacher, Gerry's vast knowledge of all things rural has made our transition to life in the country a happy and fulfilling one. Whether it's the workings of the tractor, to the local history that Gerry and his family have been a big part of, or the mechanics of a golf swing, Gerry's willingness to help and share have enriched our lives.
Gerry you will be sorely missed. Our deepest sympathies to Suellen and family.

Gerry Lobb, brother, uncle and friend. These are but a few of the terms that defined Gerry for our family. Even though we lived many provinces apart, we have always been welcome in his home and felt like it had only been days since our last visit. Many beers had, wine drank, golf played, and stories shared. Gerry was never short on memories of his sporting accomplishments, and after a few drinks the trouble him and Brian would get up to on the farm. As of recently it was his times in Florida with his loved ones and his hunting trips with his boys. Gerry’s honest and straight forward demeanour is what made him unique, he will truly be missed by all.
Rest In Peace Gerry.
Love,
Brian, Lana, Shane, Suzanne, Andrew and Renee

Lots of good memories and long travels together enjoying our favorite week of the year.
Your campfire stories and seasoned outlook on what's going on in the world will be sorely missed.
Oftentimes nothing much was said and things were just fine.
Godspeed my friend, you are on a different journey now, but maybe sometime around the middle of September each year you could lend a hand... just in case that Moose doesn't know where to go?
Our hearts go out to Suellen and the boys.

As kids Gerry and I covered miles of cow pasture trails every summer, playing Cowboys and Indians. As an adult every time I walk a pasture where cows have made their trails he's the first person to come to mind. I'd walk the trail a while just remembering those fun times. When we grew up and made our own families our visits together were fewer. His walks were taking place on a golf course, mine were on catwalks in sawmills. Our families were close in distance back in those days, the memories of our family get togethers have never left. We'd always find some kind of trouble to get into. Gerry was the other brother. Since I wont be able to physically visit with Gerry and say my goodbyes, I'll go find a pasture, take a walk and talk to him. Miss you Gerry...
