Thompson Family
We were sorry to hear of Phyllis passing. I (Cindy) did not know Phyllis but I was fortunate to have been able to connect with her this past year. She was kind enough to send me a copy of the book she had worked on
Caldwells through the years.
It gave me insight into our family history.
Phillis struck me as a very caring person. My mother and I send our condolences.

To the Thompsons,
I will miss the wonderful chats & reminiscing that Phyllis and I got to share about the Caldwell cousins and her love of genealogy. Storytelling is a gift that she shared so easily! I am so sorry that I didn't get to visit her this past year due to the pandemic. Deb (Scott) Sholdice.

I will always remember and cherish the summer memories I spent with the Thompson family when I was in my teens back in the seventies. Lord knows, I was not the ideal teenager!! A handful to say the least. Phyllis and Robin allowed me into their home and I worked on the farm, baling hay, swathing and helping with the livestock. Phyllis always had a hearty mouthwatering lunch for us. Not to mention the delicious pies. Both she and Robin will forever be in my heart. Thank you so much for the special memories.
To all of the family, my sincerest sympathies go out to you. Know that your parents were a wonderful and very caring family to many not just me.

On behalf of the Huron County Branch, Ontario Genealogical Society I would like to extend my condolences to the entire family. Phyllis was well respected in genealogical circles. She served on our Branch Council as secretary or librarian for 17 years and volunteered with many projects at our events. She was always willing to help others in their research. We all looked forward to her presentations at our November Family Portrait Night when she would dress up as a character in the story she would share! She will be missed.

To the Thompson family,
My sincere condolences to each and every one of you on the passing of your mother and grandmother. She was a great lady and I had the privilege of her being my 4-H leader for many years for which I am grateful. The last time I saw and had a chat to Phyllis was at a Christmas service in 2018 at the St. Paul's Church in Clinton. She always wanted to know how my family was doing. An amazing woman may she rest in peace.
