A few years ago, a stranger stopped to ask me if I tended gardens. This was the beginning of a cherished relationship with Gord and Melissie Kurtz. They required a caretaker of flowers.
Gord and I had commonalities, love of plants, love of books and love for our earlier years growing up on dairy farms.
Gord's gardens, unlike mine planted by happenstance, were orchestrated by colour, architecture, light
requirements, and purposeful havens for birds and insects.
Over a cup of tea,5 after the work was done, Melissie,Gord and I chatted. Precious times they were .
We embrace you Melissie and your family as you say farewell to a Wonderful Gentleman, your Husband,Father,Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He has left us many gifts.
Sincerely John and Gayle Dunn

I learned many life lessons and guidance in my spiritual thinking from Rev. Kurtz. Many sundays spent at First Baptist in Lewisburg listening to him preach the word of our Lord. Rest easy Reverend Kurtz you touched many lives with love!
